Remote Operations and Robotics Technology Showcase

The Technology Leadership Board, Accelerate Deployment Workstream, ran a highly successful remote operations and robotics technology showcase at the Net Zero Technology Centre’s base in Aberdeen on 19th of November. 

The showcase focussed on all things remote operations and robotics, from aerial drones to unmanned surface vessels and AUVs, to digital twins and autonomous operations, and AI-powered man-overboard detection.

The event brought together around 50 industry professionals sharing experiences of remote operations and robotics technologies.  A series of case study presentations highlighted how remote operations have improved safety and efficiency while reducing costs and emissions.

With extended networking and exhibitor interactions, there was plenty of time to exchange information and share lessons learned, paving the way for future collaboration.
