Offshore Europe Stakeholder Meeting

The Technology Leadership Board (TLB) hosted a Stakeholder Meeting at Offshore Europe on Thursday 4^th September 2025 to bring together a range of Operators, technology providers and R&D partners.   

TLB co-chairs Nicolas Payer (TotalEnergies) and Carlo Procaccini (NSTA) opened the session with an overview of the TLB and its active programme.  Carlo summarised highlights from the TLB workstreams, including a recent emission reduction technology Roadmap and Showcase and a data and digital collaboration focused on well P&A.  Nicolas took the opportunity to update the audience on the innovative Culzean floating wind programme which is piloting new technology in the UKCS.

This was followed by three parallel presentations:

• Accelerate Deployment: industry engagement and plans
• North Sea Transition: recent work on floating wind foundation designs
• Non-Intrusive Inspection Field Trial Accelerator (NIIFTA): an industry initiative to speed up the piloting of new technologies 

Strong engagement with the invited audience resulted in focussed Q&A during and after each talk resulting in good suggestions for further work and offers of support and participation.
