CCS Wells Technology Roadmap

The NSTA, NZTC and DNV co-hosted a technology showcase on CCS wells technology at the NZTC’s base in Aberdeen on 8th October. The event brought together around 65 industry professionals sharing experience on CCS wells technologies. 

The event coincided with the launch of a roadmap showcasing more than 60 technologies capable of supporting the development and operation of carbon storage wells. It serves as an industry resource to raise awareness of deployable technologies capable of addressing the challenges posed by CCS wells. With input from operators and supply chain partners, the report highlights current capabilities, uncovers technology gaps and identifies areas for future innovation.
