A chartered petroleum engineer with over 20 years’ experience in the Oil & Gas Industry, Carlo is currently Head of Technology at the Oil & Gas Authority as well as Co-Chair of the Technology Leadership Board.
Chartered petroleum engineer with more than 20 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry, Francois is currently the R&D manager for Total in the UK.
Peter Blake is the Manager of the Chevron UK Global Technology Centre and Chevron Global Subsea Engineering Technical Authority. He has more than 35 years industry experience in production operations, capital projects and technology development in a variety of subsea, facilities, drilling & completion engineering and management roles. A graduate of Aberdeen and Robert Gordon Universities he is involved with a number of technology initiatives including Chairing NSRI (National Subsea Research Initiative) and working with IOGP (International Oil and Gas Producers Association).
Myrtle is a Chartered Chemical Engineer, with over 25 years’ experience in the energy sector. Myrtle has taken on an array of roles, from being an offshore engineer working for BP, designing offshore and onshore infrastructure in the UK and overseas, to driving digital transformation to improve customer experience.
Marianne is a Reservoir Engineer by background with more than 25 years’ experience in the oil and gas business from Equinor, Conoco, Gaz de France, BG Group and Shell covering, technical, commercial, field development and general management including Managing Director of BG Norway. Marianne is currently the Shell UK Development Manager responsible for functional excellence in the subsurface disciplines in production and field development. She is also managing the Shell UK Upstream Technology Strategy and Technology Deployment.
Peter has spent nearly 30 years in Oil and Gas with Shell and BP. As an Engineer, his experience has centred on Operations, in Refineries, Chemicals and Upstream. Latterly, this involved running BP’s onshore operations. Peter is now leading Transformation, challenged by harnessing the changing context for Oil and Gas as well as the business imperative of improving efficiency, reducing access costs and harnessing technology and digital.
Julie started her career over 20 years ago at BP in Aberdeen as a Technical Author before moving to London where she spent several years in Editorial and Project roles for two of Europe’s largest Media companies.
Today as a Digital Economy Specialist, Julie focusses on strategic stakeholder relations and leading on key priority activities including Digital Energy, with a focus on maximising economic opportunities for Scotland.
Darren is the Chief Technical Officer at Repsol Sinopec Resources UK. He has over 25 years' experience in the energy sector in the UK and overseas, including 15 years with BG Group. He holds an MEng(Hons) in Chemical Engineering, an MBA, and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chemical Engineers.
Dr Kirsten Oliver has 20 years’ experience providing technical solutions to the energy sector both in the UK and overseas. She has strong technical and commercial skills in Asset Integrity, Corrosion Management and Data Handling. Kirsten has worked within service companies and consultancy groups as well secondments into operators for technology implementation activities. She is currently Technical Consulting Director for Worley Offshore Energy Group in the UK.
