A mechanism for offshore energy industry leaders involved in day-to-day technology development and adoption to share experience, ideas and knowledge

UKCS Technology Managers’ Network (TMN)

The TMN is a mechanism for offshore energy industry leaders involved in day-to-day technology development and adoption to share experience, ideas and knowledge for the benefit of their businesses.

With around 200 operator and supply chain members it raises awareness of available products and services and their development, and through dialogue offers better understanding of end user needs with honest feedback on applicability and remaining technology gaps.

The TMN aims to meet every two months and through supply chain and operator presentations offers opportunities for knowledge sharing, technology exposure and insights into operators’ challenges. The three TLB workstreams; Accelerate Deployment, Digital and North Sea Transition provide subject matter and focus for the regular meetings.

The TMN is supported by NSTA and NZTC. Over the 10 meetings held through 2021, a wide range of technologies and challenges has been covered. Previous presentations can be found here.

Membership of the TMN is by invitation, but if you are responsible for a significant technology function in an operator or in a supply chain company please get in touch.
